Since 2001, Doré E. Frances, PhD, has worked in the advocacy, coaching, education and therapeutic fields. She has assisted over 20,000 families with valuable information and resources for their children, teens and young adults.
These are clients / families who have been struggling in ways that she personally knows and understands.
Dr. Frances has many families and professionals who speak openly about her services.
She has assisted them with addiction treatment programs, Christian based programs, clinical interventions, eating disorder programs, military schools, residential treatment centers, summer programs, therapeutic boarding schools, wilderness programs, and many other types of programs and schools.
Her doctorate’s degree is in Human Development with an emphasis in Diverse Families.
Dr. Frances has encountered thousands of children, adolescents, teens and young adults whose lives had been turned upside down because of adoption challenges, alcohol and drug abuse and addiction, bipolar disorder, clinical challenges, eating disorder challenges, family disruption challenges, impulse control disorders, learning challenges, mood disorders, oppositional disorders, psychological needs, reckless risk-taking behaviors, sexual inappropriate behaviors, and more.
Most struggles began during adolescence, however, Dr. Frances has also assisted those as young as age 8 and up into young adulthood.
Realizing that the lives of children, adolescents, teens and young adults can turn out differently with treatment she and a team of professionals decided to create a less expensive option to help families – Help For Troubled Teen.
When Doré E. Frances, PhD and her team founded Help For Troubled Teen, she wanted to offer reduced rate Educational Consulting services unlike any other around at less than half the cost of the more traditional Educational Consulting / Therapeutic Services.
These services are for families who are able to navigate the information we give me on their own with minimal support.
